4 Weeks - 8 Sessions | Live experience
Maybe you’ve already read the books.
Maybe you have journaled, reflected, listened to the podcasts, named your attachment style, learned about your nervous system, and tried to become more aware.
And still, when a real relational moment happens — when someone misunderstands you, disappoints you, challenges you, pulls away, gets upset, or needs something from you — the version of you who knew exactly what to do seems to disappear.
Later, you may find yourself asking: “Why did I respond that way?”

“What is happening inside me?”
You are not broken. Your patterns make sense.
The way you respond in relationships did not appear out of nowhere. Many of your reactions began as intelligent adaptations — ways your body and mind learned to protect you, preserve connection, or prevent harm.
Some patterns helped you survive moments when it did not feel safe to be fully honest, fully seen, or fully yourself.
AOV is not about judging those patterns. It is about understanding them with compassion, so you can begin to notice what is happening inside you before old strategies take over.
And understanding creates the possibility of choice.
Â
Learning to stay connected to yourself while being in relationship with another person.
Owning your voice is not only about speaking up. It is learning to recognize what happens within you when connection feels uncertain, conflict feels threatening, or your needs feel inconvenient.
What am I feeling right now?
What am I needing?
What am I afraid will happen if I tell the truth?
What boundary would let me remain connected to myself?
AOV is a journey from automatic reaction toward conscious choice.
From automatic reaction toward conscious choice
Five shifts we practise gently, relationally, and without shame.
Â
Reaction → Choice
“I can pause before I respond.”
Â
Self-Blame → Self-Compassion
“My patterns make sense, and I can meet them with care.”
Â
Over-Accommodation → Healthy Boundaries
“I can be loving without abandoning myself.”
Â
Nervous-System Reactivity → Grounded Presence
“I can notice activation and come back to myself.”
Â
Harshness → Loving Firmness
“I can tell the truth with clarity and compassion.”
A method that supports real-life relational moments
Because sometimes you can understand something intellectually and still find yourself responding differently when triggered.

What can begin to change
âś“ You may begin noticing your reactions before they take over.
âś“ You may begin to meet your imperfect moments with less shame and greater self-compassion.
âś“ You may understand what your body is trying to protect.
âś“ You may become more able to pause, breathe, and choose.
✓ You may communicate your needs with more clarity.
✓ You may set boundaries without becoming harsh or disappearing.
✓ You may repair after hard conversations with more compassion.
And perhaps most importantly: begin trusting yourself again.
Who is AOV for?
â—† People who want to understand their relational patterns with compassion.
â—† People who shut down, over-explain, defend, please, or disappear in difficult conversations.
â—† People who want boundaries that feel clear, kind, and sustainable.
â—† People who are ready to practice self-trust instead of only thinking about it.
◆ People who want to relate from steadiness instead of fear.
◆ People who want a trauma-informed space that honors pace, choice, consent, and capacity.
◆ People who are curious about becoming more present, honest, and connected in relationships.
If you are curious about how to stay connected to yourself without closing your heart, this space may be for you.
This is not about blame.
AOV isn’t about deciding who was wrong, who caused the pattern, or who should have known better.
It is about becoming honest with what happens inside you and learning how to respond with more awareness.
You can honor what protected you and still choose something new.
You can take responsibility for your responses without turning that responsibility into shame.
Why I created The Art of Owning Your Voice
I created AOV for the moments when insight is not enough — when you know what you want to say, but your body goes into protection; when you understand your patterns, but still find yourself reacting from fear; when you want to be loving without abandoning yourself.
This work is close to my heart because I believe so much healing happens in the space between awareness and choice.
We do not learn to own our voice by forcing ourselves to be louder. We learn by meeting the parts of us that learned silence, performance, defensiveness, pleasing, or collapse as forms of protection.
My hope is that this experience gives you language, steadiness, and practice for staying with yourself in the relational moments that matter most.

Aleena Sunny
Trauma - Informed Relational Healing Practitioner, and Founder of Garden of Life Coaching & Healing
I believe that many of the difficulties we experience in our relationships aren't because we don't know how to love.
Often, there are deeper patterns underneath — patterns we learned early, ways we learned to protect ourselves, connect, withdraw, please or defend.
My professional background began in engineering and business, including several years in banking and leadership. Over time, my path expanded into relationship coaching and healing. I am a Certified Relational Life Coach, trained in Somatic Approaches to Healing Attachment Trauma, and I'm currently continuing my graduate education through a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and advanced training in Traumatic Stress Studies.
I believe every person has inherent worth, that we are all capable of growth, and that awareness creates the possibility of choice.
My role isn't to tell you who you should become — it's to create a space where you can hear yourself more clearly and discover what becomes possible when you have more choice in how you relate.
